Introduction

According to the general guidelines of the TIC, the center adopted a pyramidal structure forming three main research groups, each of which is supervised by its respective thrust leader. Different projects, laboratories, staff are assigned to those groups according to the recommendation of the scientific committee. Center organization is shown in Figure 1.
